DCL MEDICAL LABORATORIES ANNOUNCES INDIANA EXPANSION
Indianapolis, IN - DCL Medical Laboratories was joined by Governor Mitch Daniels and Mayor Greg Ballard this morning to announce the company's plans to expand its headquarters and clinical laboratory in Indianapolis. The company will create 125 new life sciences jobs, invest more than $4.7 million and add more than 20,000 square feet of commercial laboratory space. Founded in 1984, DCL has grown from a diagnostic cytology lab to a full-service regional reference laboratory with operations in Indianapolis, St. Louis and Louisville. The expansion will enable DCL to leverage its experience in cytopathology, clinical trials and product development to facilitate commercialization of emerging diagnostics discoveries.
BEDA assisted DCL Medical Laboratories with the expansion of its corporate headquarters as well as negotiating and procuring economic development incentives.

CHILDREN'S ORTHOPEDIC DEVELOPER TO GROW ITS NORTH CENTRAL INDIANA OPERATIONS
Warsaw, IN - OrthoPediatrics announced the company's plans to grow its development, manufacturing and distribution center in Warsaw, Indiana creating 100 new jobs. The two-year old developer of orthopedic implants for children and small stature patients will invest more than $4.5 million to more than double its development and manufacturing operations in the North Central Indiana town known as the Orthopedics Capital of the World.

FIRE PROTECTION COMPANY TO MORE THAN DOUBLE ITS SOUTH BEND WORKFORCE
South Bend, IN - Ryan Fireprotection, a designer, manufacturer and installer of custom fire protection systems, announced today it will expand its Northern Indiana operations, creating more than 25 new jobs.

COOK PHARMICA ANNOUNCES EXPANSION
Bloomington, IN - Cook Pharmica LLC, part of Cook Medical, is expanding its biopharmaceutical contract manufacturing facility in Bloomington, Indiana. The company will invest $84 million in facility upgrades and new equipment to add contract fill finish capabilities. The project will create over 200 new jobs at the facility where currently 225 people are employed.
BEDA worked with Cook Pharmica to evaluate locations for the expansion and to negotiate incentives in support of the project including over $2.2 million in performance based tax credits and $100,000 in training grants from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.

Huntingburg, IN - OFS Brands Holdings, Inc. will invest more than $81 million for the expansion to add new production facilities, veneer operations, UV coating systems and office space to its southern Indiana headquarter facilities located in Huntingburg, Indiana. The internationally recognized office furniture company will create more than 300 new jobs by 2012.
