Orange Park, FL — The Clay County Chamber of Commerce's Economic Development Division is partnering with Bingham Economic Development Advisors, LLC. to analyze the local business community for international business development made possible through an international business development grant funded by the state of Florida.

Bingham Economic Development Advisors (BEDA) has more than 60 years combined economic development background and experience in site selection, business expansion and relocation projects, development finance, community development and redevelopment, business climate evaluation and extensive direct international trade experience in strategic planning, business development, research marketing and public relations for some of the world's largest companies. The firm possesses a keen understanding of economic development goals to be derived from the survey process and study for Clay County.  BEDA will greatly enhance and compliment the existing professional economic development staff and international trade committee to achieve desired results relating to the information gathered and subsequent analysis that will be critical to our success with the international trade program.

A major part of the program consists of a survey of the local business community. This survey is crucial to providing a strong foundation for the international business development program.  The International Trade Program is designed to enhance the current business recruitment, community marketing, and existing business retention and expansion efforts for

Clay County. Priorities for the local program include developing international capacity, increasing export sales from existing business and attracting foreign direct investment.

Moreover, the program will highlight opportunities to assist Clay County businesses to expand their international trade activities including workshops, individual company visits and scholarships for  companies to participate in international trade missions or trade shows.

For more information, please contact the Economic Development Division of the Chamber of Commerce at (904) 264-7373.

The purpose of the Clay County Chamber of Commerce's Economic Development Division is to advance the economy and improve the quality of life for the citizens of Clay County through coordinated business recruitment and business retention/ expansion activities.
